An Afternoon in Nafpaktos

Finally, Jimmy has a day off!
Brigitte, Nikos and Alexander drove in from Athens and we went to a small village called Nafpaktos. It was beautiful and relaxing, once we got over the shock of the 11 euro toll we had to pay to cross the Rio bridge - each way! After strolling along the ruins of the harbor, we ate lunch at a delightful taverna while basking in the sunlight. When we returned to Patras we bowled a quick game and our friends left for Athens. Of course, Alex is staying with us in Patras for a few days since he is on Spring break. Kali is so very happy, they are working on a "Greek" project for Kali to show to her class.
