The Apples of My Eye

What a great day at Bauman Orchards! Peyton had a great time riding Ruby in the orchard.

Kali is bent over backwards in the straw maze.
I picked Peyton up so she could reach the "one at the top". It was awesome, all the fruit trees are dwarf varieties, just perfect for the kids. The Red Delicious trees were simply bursting with fruit!!

We picked a bushel of apples and we had a peck of a good time.
Bring on the pumpkin patches and the leaf piles!!!!

Kissing the Summer Goodbye!

As you can see, Peyton was worn out after a day full of fun and excitement at Lake Erie! Two beaches, wild animals, spaghetti and ice cream!!!

The girls spent hours looking for pretty stones at the rock beach. We came home with pockets full of treasures ( maybe that's why I remember the beach having way more rocks when I was a little girl).

The best thing about August at the Islands...... fresh peaches!!! Yummy! As you can see, nothing beats a fresh peach sundae! It was a nice little break in between beaches!

The girls channeled my childhood at East Harbor Beach! It was the perfect day for sun and sand! Peyton had such a good time playing in the sand and romping in the water. Kali used the beach as her own private playground. Of course, they had tons of fuel from lunch at Phil's!!!! Both of the bathing beauties had belly's full of spaghetti and meatballs!!!

We had so much fun celebrating the end of the girls summer holiday. The African Safari Wildlife Park was an amazing adventure. Peyton had such a wonderful time feeding the animals! She couldn't get enough of the wild beasts! Kali was a bit more reserved, she was more into feeding the alpacas and deer. The giraffes were every one's favorite! That smile says everything!
